Music at AUM
There are many ways to enrich your life with music at AUM. Singers can join the AUM Chorus or AUMcappella, while instrumentalists may audition for the newly formed Spirit Band.
NAACP
The purpose and aims of the AUM NAACP shall be to improve the political, educational, social, and economic status of minority groups across Auburn-Montgomery’s campus and surrounding community; to eliminate racial prejudice in all forms; to keep the Auburn-Montgomery Community aware of the adverse effects of racial discrimination; and to take lawful action to secure its elimination, consistent with all efforts of the national organization.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
NAMI recognizes that the key concepts of recovery, resiliency, and support are essential to improving the wellness and quality of life of all persons affected by mental illness.
S.A.G.E. (Students Advocating for a Greener Environment)
The SAGE Club at Auburn University at Montgomery is designed to encourage sustainable behaviors in students, faculty, and staff through peer-to-peer communication, motivation and education.
Service and Leadership Club
Would you like to enhance your leadership skills? If so, please consider joining the Service and Leadership Club (SLC). The SLC was established Fall 2023 by a group of AUM peer mentors who wanted a more official way for other peer mentors and students to be involved in serving and engaging with our local and campus community.
Spectrum
Spectrum is a community at AUM designed to provide a supportive, safe social setting for members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as friends, allies, families, and supporters of the LGBTQ+ community.
SPLC (AUM Chapter – Southern Poverty Law Center)
The SPLC is a catalyst for racial justice in the South and beyond, working in partnership with communities to dismantle white supremacy, strengthen intersectional movements, and advance the human rights of all people.
