Financial and Administrative Services

AUM’s financial and administrative services provide university-wide financial planning, oversight, and operational support that keep the institution running on and off campus. The Division of Financial and Administrative Services serves AUM by overseeing Financial Services, Human Resources, Campus Police, Facilities, and Auxiliaries, including core business areas such as budgeting, accounting, contract and grant administration, housing, and dining.

For students, faculty, staff, service providers, and other university stakeholders who rely on these operations, this page explains how AUM manages resources and support services in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Financial Services

This office exists to protect and promote the financial interests of AUM. Responsibilities include procurement and payables oversight, budget development and monitoring, financial reporting, contract and grants activities, and other general accounting functions.

The Human Resources office coordinates the hiring of faculty and staff, administers compliance of applicable equal opportunity statutes, and manages employee benefits and many other important functions that are dedicated to excellence through diversity.

Campus Services

The Campus Services function encompasses campus housekeeping, maintenance, and grounds. Campus Services also includes Auxiliary Enterprises, including university housingmailevent management, the AUM Bookstore, the Wellness Center and campus dining.

Campus Police

To maintain a campus that is safe and secure, the AUM Police Department is available 24 hours a day at (334) 244-3424. With offices at 287 Taylor Center, AUM Police provides a number of services to the campus community and help sustain a safe environment to live, work and learn.

Student Accounts

The Office of Student Accounts is the place to find information on student billing, tuition and fees, meal plans, installment payment plans, payment collections, account management, refunds, registration cancellation, and third-party billing.
