Mandatory Reporting
At AUM, the safety and security of our students is a top priority. It is important that you know the expectation in your role as staff and faculty. University employees who have the authority to take action to redress the harassment, have the duty to report harassment or other types of misconduct to appropriate officials, or who a student could reasonably believe has this authority or responsibility are considered to be Responsible Employees.
A report of an incident that violates safety and security on our campus, made to any AUM employee, is considered official notice to the University.
We encourage all staff and faculty to review the areas below for more information.

You can contact the AUM Office of Human Resources and Affirmative Action immediately to make a report at [email protected] or 334-244-3641. You may also review AUM’s Compliance Partners to determine other reporting options.
In addition to the above mentioned reporting pathways, you can also use Ethics Line, an online reporting tool, to report concerns or suspected violations. Reporting helps us uphold the values and standards that help define AUM. Frivolous or unfounded reports do not help foster a positive workplace.
