By nurturing the art of live theatre, the mission of Theatre AUM is to provide access for comprehensive training in all areas of theatre artistry and to develop a well-rounded, engaged ensemble of emerging arts by developing skills in the classroom and offering an annual season of diverse classical and contemporary productions.
Why Theatre AUM? Here are just a few reasons!
Entertaining and educational live theatre productions are presented throughout the year for the community and campus alike.
Participating students have worked with visiting guest artists, from stage and screen, who have worked with us as playwrights, directors, musicians, performers and faculty.
The program is actively involved with the Alabama Conference of Theatre, the Southeastern Theatre Conference, and the United States Institute of Theatre Technology.
No matter your interests or skill level, being involved in a theatrical experience at Theatre AUM can be a life-changing experience. If you would like to be notified about upcoming Theatre AUM events or be added to our audition list please email Faith Roberts at [email protected].
