Welcome to AUM

Continuing Education and Community Engagement

Auburn University at Montgomery’s Office of Continuing Education and Community Engagement coordinates, facilitates, and provides educational programs for nontraditional students and adults. We extend the resources of the University to persons not regularly enrolled as students on the AUM campus.

Programs take the form of noncredit courses and certificate programs. Offerings include programs in Certified Public Manager, Law Enforcement Training, Professional and Personal Development, Customized Training, ACT Test Prep Classes, Online Classes and Certificate Programs, and (OLLI) Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

ACT Prep Test

AUM’s ACT Test Preparation classes help students prepare for the exam and improve test scores. We cover all subjects of the exam including Math, Science, Language and Reading.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) Program is designed for adults age 50+ who are retired.  OLLI members enjoy networking with other retirees while engaging in lecture courses, do it yourself classes, field trips, activities and tours.

Our staff and team of training consultants and instructional experts are  passionately committed to serve the local community, the State of Alabama, and beyond with engaging, relevant training programs and learning opportunities that inspire continual growth and personal development.  We desire to help people at every stage of life and occupation continue the path of learning and development.

We are located at 75 TechnaCenter Drive off I-85, and we have plenty of free parking close to the building. There are several hotels and restaurants near our facility located in a convenient area of East Montgomery.
