The Curtiss Committee is comprised of students, willing to serve as a “Friend of Curtiss.” Our team will participate as Curtiss, the mascot at Auburn University of Montgomery, and his handler. We are dedicated to participating in events that enhance the experience for our Warhawk family and the local community. Want to try out and join us?

The Auburn University at Montgomery Cheerleaders are university ambassadors. The program cheers for all men’s and women’s home basketball games, attends all AUM orientations, and supports the university in all activities as requested. Tryouts are held once a year in the Spring semester.

The Spirit Band performs at all AUM men’s and women’s basketball games, and at other campus functions. You do not have to audition to become a member. Just bring your instrument and come play! We can even help you find an instrument if you no longer have yours. In addition, scholarships are available for deserving students to help offset tuition costs.

The Talons Dance Team has been active on Auburn University at Montgomery’s campus since 2015. The Talons’ dance style has a combination of jazz, hip-hop, majorette, and lyrical dancing. With many members on the team acquiring different skills and styles, they continue to bring something new and creative to AUM to promote school spirit.
