Economists conduct research, collect and analyze data, monitor economic trends, and develop forecasts. Their research might focus on topics such as energy costs, inflation, interest rates, farm prices, rents, imports, or employment. Economists work mainly in business, finance, and government and the profession is projected to grow significantly over the next few years.
A bachelor’s degree in Economics from AUM provides students with a strong combination of theory and the practical, hands-on learning you need to hit the ground running in your career. You could work in economic analysis, economic and business modeling, economic and market forecasting, law, banking and finance, corporate finance, international business, or public service.

The Economics department offers various scholarship opportunities to help students pay for school. Our study abroad program includes travel to Germany to visit the Borse Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Spanish Stock Exchange, and London to explore the London Stock Exchange
