Post-Graduate Certificate in Nursing - Nurse Educator
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences offers post-graduate certificate programs designed to prepare students with a previous MSN degree for careers in another advanced nursing specialty area. The courses are offered online to make it easy to enroll if students are employed part-or full-time.

Students with a Nurse Educator Certificate will be prepared to educate healthcare providers and educators for the 21st century healthcare environment, with an emphasis on interprofessional practice and team science.
This online program is designed for post-graduate registered nurses who have already earned an MSN from an accredited program, and who wish to add a specialization to become a nurse educator.
With a Fall start, the program takes three semesters to complete and requires 14 total credit hours and 120 total clinical hours.
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master’s degree program in nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
