Public Administration Certificate in Data Analysis and Policy Evaluation
In-Class

In an effort to give its students the opportunity to expand and deepen their expertise in data analysis and grant writing/grant administration, the Department of Political Science and Public Administration offers two graduate-level certificate programs. Both four-course programs are available for those who have completed a bachelor’s degree, including those AUM students currently enrolled in the Master of Public Administration program.

The Certificate in Data Analysis and Policy Evaluation provides students with the essential training they need to develop strong data analysis skills—both with respect to the ability to analyze data and the ability to explain their data analysis in written, visual, and verbal communication. Students work closely with faculty members who are experts in this area.

Four courses are currently offered for the certificate:

  • PUAD 6060 Research Design
  • PUAD 6080 Statistics and Data Analysis
  • PUAD 6260 Program Evaluation
  • PUAD 6540 Public Finance for Policymakers
