The College of Education provides a learning environment where all students can achieve their potential. We are equipped with the necessary resources to support our students throughout their academic career. These include academic advising, the Office of Student Services and Teacher Certification, service learning projects, scholarship opportunities, clubs and organizations and the Warhawk Resource Center.
The core mission of the College of Education advising office is to assist students from admission to graduation. Students have the opportunity to meet with advisors regularly to ask questions and seek guidance.
It is the vision of the College of Education to prepare competent, committed, and reflective professional educators, and our teacher certification programs are designed to ensure this with programs that are in compliance with the Alabama Teacher Certification Code.
The College of Education offers excellent scholarship opportunities to students of high academic achievement. These scholarships are awarded to deserving students at all levels, including incoming freshmen, rising seniors, and graduate students.
The College of Education has a variety of clubs and organizations to facilitate networking with fellow students and building relationships with professors and industry professionals.
