Warhawk Weekly 7-2: Experience STEM; Robotics Week
Experiencing AUM’s STEM majors
Recent high school graduates who have been admitted to AUM and are interested in STEM-connected majors will have an opportunity to learn about coursework and potential career outlets in those degree programs before the fall semester begins.
Potential science majors are invited to visit campus for College of Sciences Experience Day on Saturday, July 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will include a College of Sciences, an AUM student panel, exclusive lab tours, lunch, and a preview of the new Science Lab Complex that will open in early 2025.
Check-in will begin at 9 a.m. in the Goodwyn Hall lobby.
Robotics Week offers fun for young creators
If your child loves to figure out how things work and develop their own creations, AUM Robotics Week could be the ideal summer outlet.
The week-long immersive program July 22-26 lets 4th, 5th and 6th-grade students learn about the basics of robots, build their own robotic projects, and bring their own creations to life. No prior coding or robotics experience is needed.
The program is led by experts from AUM’s Department of Computer Science and Computer Information Systems.
