The College of Nursing and Health Sciences embraces a dynamic teaching learning environment and is committed to a learner-focused education. Students are provided the resources they will need to achieve intellectual and personal development related to their specific discipline.
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences prepares diverse healthcare professionals who are collaborative providers and leaders in the delivery of high quality, accessible, culturally-competent and compassionate care.
The mission of the College’s advising team is to assist students from admission to graduation. Students are encouraged to meet with their advisor regularly (at least once a semester) throughout their educational journey.
Interprofessional education is when students from two or more professions learn about, from and with each other to enable effective collaboration and improve health outcomes. Join us for initiatives that involve all students in the College.
The College has learning laboratories that are integral to the educational mission. These facilities allow students to work closely with faculty and peers while learning best practices and technology they will see in the clinical workplace.
