Psychology Programs

With a robust education in scientific psychology–including coursework, personalized instruction and research labs to help develop essential critical thinking and data analysis skills–some of our graduates will apply for advanced psychology studies. Others will use it to succeed in the business world, law school, and many other careers, including, of course, being a professional psychologist. Our Department alumni work in a wide and interesting range of career settings.

To help pay for your  bachelor’s degree or master’s degree, AUM and the College of Sciences offer a number of scholarships. Graduate students can earn money and gain valuable work experience from one of the graduate assistantships that are available on a competitive basis.

The College of Sciences offers students a scientific education to meet the needs of the 21st century, allowing them to compete for a variety of careers in an increasingly complex and evolving world.

Bachelor of Science in Psychology

For over 100 years, experts in the field of psychology have conducted scientific research to better understand human behavior and mental processes. Your exposure to scientific psychology increases your understanding of yourself, your community, and your culture.

Graduate Program

Master of Science in Psychology – Industrial and Organizational Psychology Track

Students in our program can graduate either by completing a practicum, or by successfully completing and defending an original research project (thesis). As such, our program offers two tracks: a thesis track and a practicum track.

The Psychology minor enables those with significant interest in psychology to broaden their knowledge while pursuing a major in another field.
