How to Order Your AUM Transcript

If you attended AUM for undergraduate and graduate work, all courses will appear on your transcript, with separate grade point averages for undergraduate and graduate courses.

Typically, financial obligations with Auburn University at Montgomery must be resolved before the Registrar’s office can release your transcript. However, if you received financial aid, you can submit a request for a transcript at www.getmytranscript.com.

Step-By-Step

How to Order Transcripts

If you are a student currently enrolled or have been enrolled within 12 months, follow these steps for a paper transcript that can be mailed or picked up at the Registrar’s Office (114 Taylor Center). If you need an electronic transcript, follow the steps under “Former Students.”

Step 1.

Login to MyAUM

Step 2.

Click on ‘Webster’, located on the top-left corner.

Step 3.

Click on ‘Student Services’; on the next screen, click on ‘Student Records’.

Step 4.

Choose one of the following options:

  • Option 1 – Select ‘Academic Transcript’, if you want to view or print an unofficial copy for your own use.
  • Option 2 – Select ‘Request Official Printed Transcript’ if you need an official copy mailed to a third party.
Step 5.

Option ‘Request Official Printed Transcript’: On the next screen, only one field is required; all others are optional.  In the required ‘Issue To’ field, type the name of the person or institution to receive your transcript.  Click Continue.

Step 6.

On the next screen, enter the following information and then click Continue:

  • Transcript Type:  Choose ‘Official’.
  • Street Lines:  Limit each line to 20 characters.
  • Enter City, State, Zip Code and Nation fields.
Step 7.

On the next screen, enter the following information and then click Continue:

  • Number of Copies: You can select up to 5 per day for a maximum of 25 free transcripts.
  • Official Transcript: Always choose ‘Yes’.
  • Choose from the following ‘Print Type’ options:

‘As soon as possible’ – To send transcript right away.
‘Hold for grades’ – To send transcript after final grades have posted.
‘Hold for degree’ – To send transcript after graduation information has posted.

  • Choose from the following ‘Delivery Method’ options:

Standard Mailing’ – To have transcript mailed through the postal service.
In Person’ – To pick up transcript in person at the Registrar’s Office.

Step 8.

  After double-checking your information, click ‘Submit Request’.

You are done! Remember to logoff and close your browser when finished.

Type in “Auburn University at Montgomery” and click “Continue”

Step 3.

Follow through the screens to:

  • Input your information
  • Select delivery method
  • Input delivery address
  • Complete Consent Form

There is a fee of $10.00 per transcript. You can select an electronic transcript, a paper mailed transcript, or a hold-for-pick-up transcript. The AUM Registrar’s Office will mail your transcript to the specified address or you may pick up your transcript at the AUM Registrar’s Office by typing “Hold for Pickup”. A picture identification is required to release your transcript.

If you provide your email address a notification will be sent when your transcript is either emailed, ready for pickup or has been mailed.

Please note that former students can only request official copies of their transcript.

If you are a student currently enrolled in need of a VISA Transcript, follow these steps.

Step 1.

Login to MyAUM

Step 2.

Click on ‘Webster’, located on the top-left corner.

Step 3.

Click on ‘Student Services’; on the next screen, click on ‘Student Records’.

Step 4.

Select ‘Request Official Printed Transcript’.

Step 5.

On the next screen, only one field is required.  In the ‘Issue To’ field, type your name and then click Continue.

Step 6.

On the next screen, enter the following information and then click Continue:

  • Transcript Type:  Choose ‘Official’.
  • Street Lines:  Limit each line to 20 characters.
  • Enter City, State, Zip Code and Nation fields.
Step 7.

On the next screen, enter the following information and then click Continue:

  • Number of Copies: You can select up to 5 per day for a maximum of 25 free transcripts.
  • Official Transcript: Always choose ‘Yes’.
  • For the ‘In Progress Cut-off Term’ option select the future term that you plan to return to the U.S.
  • For the ‘Print Type’ select ‘As soon as possible’.
  • For ‘Delivery Method’ select ‘In Person’.  This signifies that the transcript will be picked up at Registrar’s Office.
Step 8.

  After double-checking your information, click ‘Submit Request’.

You are done! Remember to logoff and close your browser when finished.

Transcripts

Types of Transcripts

Official transcript

  • An official transcript is a comprehensive record of your academic progress, including transfer work, credit earned by exam, and earned degrees.
  • All official transcripts bear the University seal and are endorsed by the Registrar.
  • In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, transcripts are released to a student or a third party only upon receipt of a request that includes the student’s official written signature.

Unofficial transcript

  • An unofficial transcript does not have the same level of security as an official transcript.
  • Unofficial transcripts are printed on plain paper and do not have a college seal or Registrar’s signature.
  • Currently registered students may obtain an unofficial transcript by accessing MyAUM portal. 

VISA Transcripts

  • A VISA transcript is a student record that is used for international purposes.
  • This transcript allows the student to enter back into the U.S. to attend AUM.
  • The student transcript must reflect when the student will be returning to AUM by registering for courses for a future semester.
