Lindsey Barton, MSN, ACNP-BC, FNP-C

Lindsey Barton is dually certified in Adult Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Troy State University in 2005 as a Registered Nurse. She specialized in emergency medicine, post anesthesia care, and cardiovascular recovery. She graduated in 2012 from University of Alabama Birmingham as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She worked at Baptist Health for the Hospitalist Group for 2 years. She then went back to UAB and graduated with her Family NP degree in 2015. She has since worked in outpatient medicine with urgent care and family medicine. Since 2017, she has worked as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the UAB MSN Program. She volunteers at her church on the medical emergency response team. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children (all boys). She enjoys attending church, traveling, snowboarding, and running.
