AUM’s College of Education offers three graduate program options in both the Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education specialty areas:

  • Traditional Masters: For those with an Alabama Class B Professional Educator Certificate seeking Class A certification.
  • Alternative Masters: For those without a bachelor’s in education who want to teach K-6 and obtain an Alabama Class A certificate.
  • Education Specialist (EdS): For those with an M.Ed. and Class A certification who want to broaden their knowledge and obtain Class AA certification.
