Scholarships

In addition to other AUM scholarships awarded, the College of Education offers excellent scholarship opportunities to students of high academic achievement. These scholarships are awarded to deserving students at all levels, including incoming freshmen, rising seniors, and graduate students.

AUM-COE-scholarship-recipients

Educator Advancement Scholarship

($100 per credit hour off tuition)

For all online graduate programs for individuals who work for any Alabama educational institution. After applying to graduate school. Contact your advisor for details.

College of Education Graduate Incentive Scholarship

($100 per credit hour off tuition)

For all face-to-face graduate programs. After applying to graduate school. Contact your advisor for details.

Temporary Special Education Certificate (TSEC) Scholarship

($50 per credit hour off tuition)

Anyone pursing a Class B Professional Educator Certificate in Collaborative 6-12 Special Education using the five course bundle may be eligible for this scholarship.

Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers Sorority Scholarship

Final Application Deadline: March 1, 2023

Each of the scholarships below requires a separate application to be submitted by March 1st each academic year.

Graduate – Master of Counselor Education Degree or Education Specialist Degree in Counselor Education

  • Please make sure application is completely filled out with all requested information.
  • If submitting multiple applications, only one copy of your unofficial transcript is required. 
  • Submitting an incomplete application and/or not submitting a transcript, may result in your application being delayed for consideration for the scholarship
