Faculty/Staff Dodgeball Tournament promotes teamwork

Students compete in a dodgeball tournament at the Wellness Center.AUM Intramural Sports and Student Affairs will host a spirited Faculty/Staff Dodgeball Tournament on Wednesday, June 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the AUM Wellness Center, promoting teamwork and campus engagement.

This free event is open to all AUM faculty and staff, offering a fun, competitive way to build collaboration and camaraderie beyond the workplace. Teams will face off in a lighthearted setting that fosters connection and school spirit.

Students are welcome to attend and cheer on their favorite faculty and staff teams in a playful celebration of AUM pride.

Alumni Night: ASF features Wizard of Oz

AUM alumni are invited to a special “Alumni Night” at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival on Thursday, July 24, for a performance of “The Wizard of Oz.”

The beloved stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic tale will start at 7.p.m. on Festival Stage. Featuring music and lyrics by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg and background music by Herbert Stothart, audiences will follow Dorothy Gale from Kansas to the magical Land of Oz in a production filled with iconic songs and timeless charm.

Tickets are $25 each, non-refundable, and may be picked up at the ASF Box Office before the show. Buy ASF Alumni Night tickets.

Warhawk volleyball and soccer reveal 2025 schedules

Get ready for an action-packed season of AUM volleyball and women’s soccer!

Warhawk Volleyball celebrates.Warhawk volleyball will kick off its 2025 campaign with second-year head coach Craig Case, opening the season at the Pioneer Invitational where they will play three games in Greenville, Tennessee from September 4–5. The team will play against Tusculum University on Thursday, followed by King University and Converse University on Friday.

With six return athletes from the 2024 roster, along with the addition of six newcomers and five freshmen, the 2025 season promises to be one to watch. Check out the full volleyball schedule.

AUM women’s soccer opens its 2025 season with 16 regular-season matches, including seven games at home at the AUM Soccer Complex and eight on the road.

Now in its fifth season under head coach Julianne Herrity, the Warhawks will start with three straight road matchups. The team will travel to Melbourne, Florida, to face Florida Tech on Sept. 5, then continue on to Jacksonville for the Sept. 8 matchup at Edward Waters University, followed by a Sept. 12 matchup at Coker University.

All home matches will be played at the AUM Soccer Complex with free parking available. Get the women’s soccer team full schedule.
