Warhawk Weekly 10-31: Explore research opportunities; Cheer on AUM Athletics

Preschoolers score treats at ELC Halloween Parade
AUM’s Early Learning Center gave out treats to preschoolers to celebrate Halloween today on The Quad.
ELC preschoolers (ages 3-5) walked the Quad in costumes to trick-or-treat with AUM students, faculty and staff.
Students, faculty and staff stood along the sidewalks near the Education building, Clement and Goodwyn Hall to distribute candy, stickers, pencils, notepads and balloons.
Explore student research opportunities at Research Flash Talks
To foster a culture of research and collaboration at AUM, the Experiential Education and Engagement Center (EEEC) and newly founded Research Club will host Research Flash Talks on Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in Goodwyn Hall Lobby.
The Research Flash Talks event is targeted at providing students with information about research opportunities, connecting faculty and students with mutual research interests, and sparking interdisciplinary collaborations.
During the speed-dating formatted event, faculty will spend 10 minutes providing guidance and support to students looking to enhance their educational experience with research. The open forum event is also an opportunity for students to discuss their research interests with research faculty. Lunch will be provided.
