The Celebration of Research and Creative Activity gives students the opportunity to share their research university-wide.  Undergraduate and graduate students will share their research posters and creative activity displays.

Honors Day will be held Friday, April 25 in Taylor 221-223 to honor our Outstanding Students.

No strangers to athletic excellence, Auburn University at Montgomery sponsors 12 intercollegiate athletic teams with more the 200 student-athletes participating in men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, men’s and women’s tennis and beginning in the Fall of 2025, women’s golf. The Warhawks, part of the Gulf South Conference and NCAA Division II, carry a strong tradition of athletic excellence from the NAIA into their NCAA membership, which began in the 2019-2020 academic year.

Employees are invited to watch the AUM vs Montevallo Softball Game at 3 PM online through a free one-time login through FloSports^® from the comfort of your desk!  Employees can also present their Warhawk ID to enter the AUM Athletics Complex to enjoy the AUM vs Montevallo Baseball Game at 5 PM.  Go Warhawks!

AUM’s Coding & 3D Modeling Week is June 10-14.

Camp Details:

Dates: June 10th – June 14th , 2024
Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm everyday (Lunch provided)
Location: Auburn University at Montgomery, Goodwyn Hall (College of Sciences) 205
Target Age Group: Middle School & High School (10, 11, 12 graders preferred)
Focus: This immersive summer camp introduces students to the exciting worlds of coding and 3D modeling.
1. Learn the fundamentals of embedded programming, a skill used in creating interactive devices and robots.
2. Master the basics of Blender, a popular 3D modeling software, to design and build their own virtual creations.
Benefits:
1. Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
2. Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies.
3. Unleash their creativity and design skills.
4. Have fun and make new friends who share an interest in technology.
Project Showcase and Celebration:
On the final day, students will present their creations in a project showcase, receiving certificates and celebrating their achievements with a reception (family and friends are invited).

• High school seniors (acceptance letter required)

• Current AUM students
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA

Skill Requirements:

• Advanced motion technique
•  Intermediate-level stunting (minimum)
• Advanced stunting skills (preferred)
• Tumbling not required, but preferred

Scholarship Opportunities:

• Base scholarships starting at $1,000/year
• Additional scholarships for athletes with:
• Standing back handspring & round-off back handspring series ($300 scholarship)
• Standing tuck/cartwheel tuck & round-off back handspring tuck ($500 scholarship)
• 3.75+ GPA ($300 scholarship)
