For more than 15 years, the African American Alumni Reception has brought members of the AUM community together in fellowship and celebration. This year, we continue that tradition by hosting the 15th annual reception.

What began as an opportunity for alumni to gather then grew into something more. The African American Alumni Reception Scholarship was born out of this gathering and created to support deserving students pursuing their education at AUM. Over the years, the reception has continued to support the scholarship and the students it serves.

This year’s African American Alumni Reception will trade the seated dinner and formal program for a relaxed reception designed to give alumni more time to spend together. AUM alumni and friends are invited to gather for an evening of great food, drinks, music, and conversation. The reception will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and music.

Advance registration is required. Registration includes a $25 donation to the event. The full $25 donation supports the African American Alumni Reception Scholarship and continues the reception’s longstanding tradition of supporting AUM students.

We invite you to join us as we celebrate our 15^th reception and the many connections that continue to bring AUM alumni together.
