Jason Nelson is a believer, husband, father, son, brother, veteran, poet, writer, publisher, leader, educator, speaker, follower, mentor, artist, musician, and author of the novel…Always Start To Measure From Zero. While serving in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years before retiring, his duties included Unit Deployment Manager, Instructional Systems Designer, Military Instructor, Enlisted Recruiter, Project Manager, Communications Controller, and Logistics Coordinator, while interacting and collaborating with diverse teams at multiple levels. He accomplished measurable results while in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Jason possesses a comprehensive background in business development, operations management, and strategic planning derived from conducting domestic and global operations. He managed risks across multiple lines of responsibility to protect government equipment, resources, and budgets valued in excess of $180M. A career that is supported by an HR B.S., four Associate degrees, and a plethora of military as well as professional development courses. With over two decades of writing and 20 titles under his belt, he has a uniquely wry voice that shines through in each collection of words, no matter the genre. In the end, though, it all boils down to Jason’s ability to channel the raw creativity within himself to overcome the binding conformity of dissimilar external minds.
