Office of University Marketing
The Office of University Marketing coordinate all internal and external advertising efforts for the university. Our services include promoting events on campus, leading all marketing efforts for the university and its departments, producing graphic materials and managing the collective website management for the university. As part of those responsibilities, the Office of Marketing is also responsible for producing and maintaining the style standards set forth in the University Style Guide, and the university website.

Business Cards and Stationery
All business cards and stationery should be ordered through the Davis Direct portal. Use the ordering instructions to guide you through the process and contact Marcus Washington if you have any questions.

Request a new employee to be added, an existing employee’s information to be updated or changed, or the removal of an employee.

Graphic Design
If you need postcards, logos, t-shirts, or multi-page documents designed for advertising or recruiting purposes this is the place for you. Use this form to request a graphic design project and it will be added to Click up, our project management system.

Photography
If you require our university photographer to attend an event to take photos for print or digital use please download the request form below.
Pre-Approval Form
All printed items paid for with university funds or that include an AUM logo or wordmark must receive a signed pre-approval form. Submit Pre-Order Approval forms via email to Pepper Martin or Marcus Washington.

Web Design & Edits
If you need the content on your pages revised, need new pages, need to reorganize all of your content, or request training for WordPress, this is the place to be. Fill out the web project request form to get your project flying. Also, if you would like to schedule a meeting before submitting your form, please email the university WordPress developer at [email protected] and he will contact you to set up a meeting time.

If you are a Faculty or Staff member and you would like WP training to make content edits to the pages under your purview, please fill out the form at the link below and we will contact you to schedule a training session. Wordpress Developer
BFA in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design – AUM
Alabama Army National Guard – 1991-1999. E4 Specialist
Prior to graduating in 1995, I began working in my first professional job with Gayfer’s department store. I transitioned from that position to working with BASS as a designer in the marketing department. BASS was purchased by ESPN in 2001 and I moved to Orlando Fl where I began working for ESPN outdoors. I pioneered underwater 3d animation that depicted how various tackle functioned and how they attracted various fish species. I expanded this process to produce animations that showed how to properly tie the various knot types used in fishing. These were shown on the outdoor channel for ESPN and the ESPN Outdoors and BASS websites. After my tenure at ESPN outdoors and BASS I moved back to Montgomery, AL in 2007 to return to AUM to take the position as the Senior Graphic Designer for the marketing department. In 2020 I transitioned to become AUM’s WordPress developer. I served in the Alabama Army National Guard from 1991-1999.
