Admissions Requirements

As a first-time freshman, you should know that AUM uses a combination of test scores and your high school GPA to determine your academic eligibility for admission. We use the highest composite/total score in a single sitting. To apply to AUM, you’ll need to submit the required documents to the address at the bottom of this page. (If you are U.S. Citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident.

  • completed AUM online application; no application fee.
  • Your official high school transcript (which should be mailed directly to AUM from your high school).
  • Your official ACT or SAT score report.
  • Requirements: Full Admissions- minimum 18 ACT or 940 SAT score and 2.3 GPA; if you are a Bridge student, a minimum 17 ACT or 900 SAT score and 2.3 GPA is required.

  • completed AUM online application; no application fee.
  • Official transcript(s) from each college or university you’ve attended (which should be mailed directly to AUM by each institution).
  • Requirements: Transfer students must have completed 24 or more hours of college level credit at a regionally accredited institution(s) with at least a 2.00 on all GPA hours (all graded hours) from all colleges or institutions attended. If you have fewer than 24 credit hours of transferrable work, you will need to meet the minimum admission requirements for entering freshmen.  Check out STARS for information on what classes transfer.
  • Fill out a streamlined transient application. There is no application fee.
  • Provide AUM with one of the following:
    • High School Transcript (can be unofficial) & ACT Score
    • Proof of admission to a post-secondary institution
    • Transcript (can be unofficial) or transient authorization form from your current college or university (NOTE:  if you are currently seeking a degree at another institution, it is recommended that you speak with your advisor to determine any requirements at your home institution.)
  • Mail your document(s) to:

  • A completed AUM online application; no application fee.
  • Official transcript(s) from each institution you have attended.
  • Student must submit a degree bearing transcript.
  • A completed AUM online application; no application fee.
  • Official high school transcript (which should be mailed directly to AUM from the school).
  • Official ACT or SAT score report.
  • Requirements: 20 ACT or 950 SAT score; 3.0 or higher GPA.
  • A completed AUM online application; no application fee.
  • Official transcript(s) from each college or university you’ve attended other than AUM (which should be mailed directly to AUM by each institution).
  • Requirements: You must apply for readmission if you have not been enrolled in undergraduate courses at AUM for one academic year (three semesters) or more. If you attended another college since your enrollment at AUM, you must be in good academic standing at the last school you’ve attended.
