The Auburn University at Montgomery Alumni Association proudly recognizes exceptional faculty through its distinguished faculty awards program. The Alumni Professorship honors faculty who exemplify excellence in teaching, research, scholarly and creative accomplishments, and service to Auburn University at Montgomery. Selected through a competitive nomination process, this prestigious honor recognizes faculty whose work has advanced the university’s academic mission and left a lasting impact on students, colleagues, and generations of Warhawks.

For more than three decades, the Alumni Professorship has recognized faculty whose scholarship, leadership, and service have helped shape Auburn University at Montgomery.

Current full-time faculty members with at least 10 years of service at AUM are eligible for nomination. The Alumni Professorship is awarded every three years, and recipients serve a three-year, non-renewable term while receiving an annual salary supplement of $2,500 provided by the AUM Alumni Association.
