About the Scholarship
One $1,500 scholarship shall be awarded each year to an Auburn University at Montgomery student. Applicants must be enrolled in the Department of Criminal Justice and intend to pursue a career in law enforcement. The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and demonstrate a financial need as verified by the Office of Financial Aid. If a student with financial need cannot be identified, the financial need criterion may be waived. Include an essay stating the applicant’s intent to pursue a career in law enforcement, why the applicant should be chosen, and how the applicant will use their degree to positively impact our criminal justice system.
