Special Speaker

Charles Clark

Charles Clark is a motivational speaker and the creator of the Thrive Planner. Before becoming an international speaker, Charles was one of the fastest men in the world. He is a 3x NCAA National Championship and USA Track and Field Championships silver medalist. Now, as a mindset expert, Charles shows athletes, entrepreneurs, and companies how to win in life. Today, Charles Clark teaches people how to use adversity to build greater strength, success, and fulfillment.

2021 Homecoming Court

Student clubs, organizations and individual students have the opportunity to nominate ONE student per position on the Homecoming Court.

The deadline to sign up for participation is Wednesday, February 17 by Noon. All approved Homecoming Court nominees MUST attend the “Homecoming Court Orientation/Headshots” event in Warhawk Alley on Monday, February 22 at 4PM. Your attendance to this event confirms your position in running for homecoming court.

Chancellor’s Cup Points Championship

10 A.M. | Opening Day on the Quad (The Quad)

Let’s kickoff the homecoming celebration with an exciting opening out on The Quad! Learn more about the week, design your own mask, and enjoy breakfast in select locations around campus.

    Be on the lookout for stations located throughout campus with fresh Krispy Kreme donuts!
  • Homecoming Information Tent
    Visit SWOT Leaders to get more information including event calendars, homecoming court, and other
    opportunities for involvement!
  • Best Homecoming Mask Design Competition
    Let your creative juices flow and rock your own custom homecoming mask! White cotton masks, fabric
    pens, and more will be provided by Student Affairs. The best design will win a prize!

NOON–3:30 P.M. | Eat & Compete…or Watch (The Quad)

Each day, a new office or organization will sponsor free lunch on The Quad! Warhawks can also enjoy random games on the lawn, with one serving as the official Chancellor’s Cup competition for the day!

  • Lunch is on the SWOT Team
    Join your SWOT orientation leaders and enjoy food from Moe’s!
  • Play a Game or Three
    Each day, a series of different games will be available. Show us how you play and earn some cool prizes!
  • Chancellor’s Cup Game 1: Cornhole Tournament
    Teams can choose a member to compete on their behalf in the cornhole tournament to earn 30 and 15 points for the top two teams. Each team will be awarded 5 points for participation.

6 P.M. | Men’s Basketball VS Univ. of  West Georgia (Live Stream)

4-7 P.M. | Dinner: $6 All You Can eat Pasta (The Café)

    Join the AUM Cheerleaders in chants and cheers for your Warhawks!
  • 3D Printing
    Visit with Fine Arts Instructor Marguerite Gilbertson and students for a 3D Printing experience!

6 – 8 P.M. | Alumni Virtual Cooking Class

Registration fee: $10

Join us for a two-hour cooking demonstration led by a professionally trained chef. Participants will start with basic individual ingredients and make an incredible meal together. While preparing the meal, the chef will also teach basic culinary skills.

An ingredient list will be emailed to participants before the event, and all recipes will be sent to participants after the event. An exclusive AUM apron will be provided with each registration.

    Teams can choose a member to compete on their behalf in the grand slam shootout tournament to earn 30 and 15 points for the top two teams. Each team will be awarded 5 points for participation.

7 P.M. | Alumni Virtual Wine Tasting

Join us from the comfort of your own home for a virtual wine tasting led by a professionally trained sommelier. Participants will sample three varieties of wine as we learn about the origins and the flavors of each bottle.

A wine list will be emailed to participants prior to the event, or wine kits may be purchased at Filet and Vine in Montgomery. An AUM wine glass will be provided with each registration.
