Youth Cheer Clinic
Calling all young cheerleaders ages 4-11!
Join us for an exciting Cheerleading Youth Clinic at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM), where budding cheerleaders will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading. The clinic will kick off on Friday, January 17, from 5 – 8 P.M.at the AUM Taylor Center 230. Participants will enjoy learning a halftime routine and short cheers to perform at the AUM women’s basketball game the following day.
This engaging clinic offers a perfect opportunity for parents to enjoy a night out or catch up on holiday shopping while their children are having fun and learning new skills. Dinner will be served to all cheerleaders during Friday’s session.
On Saturday, all participants should arrive at the AUM Gymnasium by 1 P.M. to warm up and prepare for their exciting performance. The young cheerleaders will showcase their talents during the first quarter and halftime of the game. They are free to leave after completing the halftime routine.The clinic is not only a fun learning experience but also supports a great cause. All proceeds will help the AUM Cheerleaders attend their nationals competition in April.
The cost of the clinic is $75 if preregistered and prepaid by January 17 at Noon, or $100 at the door. AUM Faculty, Staff, and Alumni enjoy a $15 discount. Payments can be made via CashApp ($aumcheer), Venmo (@aum_cheer), or cash at the door.
Every participant will receive an AUM Cheer Clinic shirt and two adult tickets to the basketball games on Saturday.
