Sensors & AI Camp
AUM’s College of Sciences is expanding access to artificial intelligence through a summer camp that will provide middle and high school students with hands-on learning experiences in AI and emerging technologies.
During the Sensors & AI Camp, students will learn the fundamentals of sensors, artificial intelligence and technology applications through interactive activities and projects.
The camp is free to attend and participants will conclude the camp by earning a National Science Foundation (NSF) certification. Students should bring their own lunch, with a lunch break scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. each day.
To register, parents should email the camp title along with the camper’s full name, upcoming grade, school name, phone number and email address to the camp instructors Jesus Linares at [email protected] or Lei Wu at [email protected]. For more information, call 334-213-8666.
This camp is supported by an NSF grant that is helping AUM expand AI education, research and workforce development initiatives across the university and throughout the community.
