Experiential Education Week Spring 2023: Browse Session
In collaboration with the Office of Distance Education and Faculty Development Institute, the EEEC is hosting Experiential Education Week February 13 – 17, 2023. The purpose of this week is to promote experiential learning opportunities and encourage participation by AUM students, faculty, and staff. While opportunities provided by the EEEC focus on undergraduates, all are encouraged to learn more about ways in which to apply what they’ve learned to solve problems in college, career, community, and all areas of life.
Monday, 2/13, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Browse Session (230 TC)
Presenters: Faculty, staff, and community organizations will host browse session tables. Similar to Orientation, we will have tables set up around the room where attendees can stop by to inquire about experiential opportunities offered. These may include, but are not limited to: internships, undergraduate research, service-learning, community engagement, field experiences, job shadowing, study abroad, and peer mentorships that are offered in your particular area.
Audience: Other faculty, staff, and students will learn about the different types of experiential learning, opportunities that are available, and the benefits of experiential learning.
Refreshments will be served.
