Be The Match Registry Drive

AUM Athletics will be hosting a Be The Match Bone Marrow Registry Drive for all students, faculty & staff to participate in on Wednesday, February 22nd & Thursday, February 23rd. Campus community members can join the registry by completing an online registration and doing a simple cheek swab, all of which will take less than 15 minutes.

Every year 12,000 patients are diagosed iwth life-threatening blood cancers or diseases like sickle cell for which a blood stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor may be their only chance at a cure. Those from minority populations have less likelihood of finding a match due to disparity in minority registered to be possible donors.
