AUM Forest Restoration Work Day 1
The forest on the AUM campus is full of invasive plants, such as privet, mimosa, popcorn trees, and Bradford pears. As part of a long-term restoration effort, the Rural History and Ecology Research Institute is holding monthly workdays to remove these plants. To help with this project, please join us from 9AM-12PM at the bridge leading to the forest. Bring water, wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the outdoors, and anything else you may need for a morning in the woods. Long pants and sleeves are highly recommended! Please RSVP HERE and contact Dr. Chelsea Ward ([email protected]) if you have questions.
