Transfer Scholarships

We offer a variety of Transfer Scholarships to incoming transfer students from any of Alabama’s regionally accredited colleges and universities. Transfer students who complete their Associate Degree from a regionally accredited community college from a state other than Alabama with a 3.5 or greater cumulative GPA are eligible for in-state tuition rates. Students must remain enrolled full-time and maintain a 3.0 GPA for all work completed at AUM in order to sustain their scholarship. Transfers with an associate degree from a SPAN Partner Community College may be eligible for a full scholarship.

To be considered for these scholarships, you must complete your application for the  Fall 2021 semester and provide your supplemental materials by August 1st.    For the Spring 2021 semester, application and supplemental materials must be provided by December 15th 2020. No additional scholarship application is needed.

My advisors, my professors, and the resources and my new friends here at AUM have really helped me make the academic and lifestyle transition. I was afraid I would sink, but they have helped make sure that my head’s not just above the water but that I really am doing well.

Donna Sanford, Trenholm State Community College Transfer Student
