The best way to experience our vibrant, scenic university is to take a one-on-one cruise through campus with one of our Warhawk Recruiters, each of whom are Auburn University at Montgomery students. See AUM from a student’s perspective and get the down-low on campus life. Register for your campus tour online. We recommend registering in advance for your visit.

You can see the AUM campus by signing up for a Saturday Tour, offered a few times each semester. Advance registration is required for Saturday Tours. During the Saturday Tour, you will be able to see AUM academic buildings and the Wellness Center, and have the opportunity to see a residence hall. Since these tours take place on the weekend, academic, and financial aid representatives are not available. Register for Saturday Tours online or call (334) 244-3615 or (800) 227-2649.

Thank you for your interest in visiting AUM! We are not able to offer group tours at this time due to social distancing restrictions. However, if you would like to schedule a virtual information session for your group please contact our Campus Experience Manager, Amanda Brasington at abrasing@aum.edu.

Campus tours are offered most weekdays, Monday – Friday, at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m., and last approximately 90 minutes. Register for campus tours by visiting our registration page or call 334-244-3615.

Admissions Events

AUM is coming to a town near you! This is your opportunity to discover more about AUM without ever having to leave home. Learn about admission requirements, scholarships, student life, and so much more! We can’t wait to meet you!

What is it really like to be a student at AUM?  Find out by talking with current students and hearing from AUM faculty from your area of study. You’ll also be able to tour our lovely campus and a residence hall. This event takes place from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. To meet you where you are, this is a virtual event please click HERE to register and receive the link to log in.

During this event you’ll be able to tour the campus and residence halls, explore our academic offerings, learn about financial aid and scholarships, and even take advantage of our fast-track admissions!  This half-day event takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

If you’re a transfer student, this event is just for you! Learn everything you need to know about transferring to AUM and becoming a future Warhawk. From 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., you will hear about life at AUM, take a tour of campus, get lunch, and much more!

Congratulations on your acceptance to AUM! Come celebrate with a fun-filled tailgate on the Quad. Meet your future classmates, Greeks and other organizations, enjoy delicious food and tailgate games, and register on the spot for the orientation date of your choice!

Auburn University at Montgomery hosts several open house events each fall and spring for interested students. During these events you can apply for admissions, learn about scholarship opportunities and financial aid, take a tour of campus with an AUM student and learn about our academic majors by chatting with faculty members. Plan Your Visit

Learn about the rich history of our state capital when you plan your visit to Montgomery! While you’re here, enjoy our local restaurants and shopping. The Shoppes at Eastchase are located within a mile of campus and provide multiple dining and shopping destinations. If you have time to visit downtown Montgomery, be sure to enjoy the scenery at Riverwalk Park!

  • Visitors to AUM can park in the two reserved admissions parking spaces located directly in front of the Taylor Center, in any metered parking space or in any white-lined parking space. The Office of Admissions can also provide visitors to our office with a guest parking pass upon arrival.
  • Dress comfortably and for the weather. Rain or shine, hot or cold, the campus tour will endure!
  • Prepare any questions you may have and bring any necessary documents. If you’re not sure what documents are needed to complete your admissions application contact our office at any time.
  • Our typical tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and includes a tour of the academic buildings, student center and wellness center.
  • Model housing rooms are available for guests to experience during their tour of a residence hall. Multiple residence hall tours are available during open house events such as Warhawk Welcome, Saturday Tours, A Day in the Life of a Warhawk and Transfer Preview Day.

  • There is an ATM on the 2nd floor of the Taylor Center next to the Amazing Bean and across from the AUM Bookstore.
  • There is a lost in found at the front desk of the library and one at the AUM Police Department, which you can call at (334) 244-3424.
