Exploratory and Undecided Advising
Whether you have a general idea of what you want to do, or if you have no idea where to start and are still figuring yourself out, AUM has support for you! Exploratory students are not alone; they have a dedicated advisor to help them complete Alabama state core requirements, explore their interests and goals, and find the educational path that is right for them.
Exploring, but Not Alone
Our goal is to help students find the major that best suits their goals, lifestyle, and academic interests. A dedicated Exploratory advisor will meet with you each semester to guide you until you are ready to declare your major.
Exploratory students even have their own dedicated section of University 1000! In this specialized course, you can explore majors and career paths, make connections with other students, and more.
