What We Believe

The mission of Auburn University at Montgomery is to provide quality and diverse educational opportunities at the undergraduate and graduate levels through use of traditional and electronic delivery systems, and to foster and support an environment conducive to teaching, research, scholarship, and collaboration with government agencies, our community, and other educational institutions.

After many months and thoughtful input from students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community leaders, the Auburn University at Montgomery 2014-18 Strategic Plan is complete.

It includes:

  • An identity statement that describes who we are;
  • A new mission statement that clearly communicates why we exist and what we do;
  • Seven core values that represent the university community; and
  • A vision that outlines aspirations of where we want to be as a university in five years.
