Help Desk

The Information Technology Services provides assistance to students, faculty and staff two different ways-- the online help desk and the traditional Help Desk.  Visit the Online Help Desk to find frequently asked questions about Blackboard, Webster, passwords, Wi-Fi setup, etc.

For more specific help, and for personal assistance you may contact our traditional Help Desk located in Taylor Center. The traditional Help Desk provides phone, email, and in-person support for faculty, staff and students who have issues related to computing at AUM.  The Help Desk provides answers to general computing questions, questions regarding the utilization of supported software applications and trouble-ticket processing for problem reports.  Other tasks include:

  • Providing verbal assistance with software and hardware problems
  • Controlling lab access and hours in the Taylor Center open computer lab
  • Fixing minor hardware problems in the computer lab such as paper jams and refilling toner in the printers
  • Assisting students that live on campus with configuration of their personal laptops to our wireless network
