Oversees and collects data related to student achievement, student engagement, and student and partner satisfaction. Information provided on the Assessment link includes reports related to National Survey of Student Engagement, Noel Levitz Survey and report, Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency, and the University’s Annual Assessment System

The AUM Assessment Committee has been selected.

Evaluation

Provides data, often collected through Institutional Research, and submits information to external agencies. In addition, this branch manages teaching effectiveness, or Instructional Assessment System (IAS). Reports completed through this branch include the following: School-specific US News reports, College Board Survey, America’s Best Colleges, and Princeton Review.

Institutional Research

Oversees the collection, analysis, and reporting of university-wide data. Reports completed and maintained by this branch include the following: IPEDS, ACHE, EBO Smart Planning, CUPA, Knight Settlement Report, Delaware Study, Common Data Set, and others. Records regarding student enrollment, (by ethnicity, level, etc.), credit hour production, and degrees awarded are also provided by this branch of OIE.
