Welcome to AUM! We will make appointments for your Immigration Check-In and TB Skin Test, receive “Welcome to Campus” Information, and meet your international advisors from the Office of Global Initiatives. Breakfast bags are available for students. You will receive a folder of information including the New Student Check-in Form, Insurance Information, Maintaining your F-1 Status Form, and Immigration Check-In Form. Temperature Checks will be administered at the door. **Appointments start on Tuesday, January 19th for the Immigration Check-In.

Laurie Bellinger will speak on the services that the Health Center on campus provides as well as COVID-19 Testing.
Laurie Bellinger presents information on the United Healthcare Insurance Plan for international students. We will give tips on the enrollment process, how to login to your United account online, and the guidelines of the insurance.
Jason Crutchfield presents on Montgomery, AL, customs of the United States, campus resources such as Student Health Services, Counseling and Health Promotions, Food Pantry, etc.
Ayush Taneja presents requirements for your Student Visa status while at AUM. Details include: F-1 status, working on or off campus, the number of classes you must take and more.
Dr. Paul Fox will address the importance of the core curriculum at AUM and also the importance of using your own work while at AUM through an interactive workshop.
BurgerFi Box lunch is provided for each student to take away.
Shopping to purchase items needed for your daily life/ tour the surrounding area of AUM.

This is an opportunity for you to hear from professors as well as ask questions about your studies. *Drs. Clark, Wang, Ragland, and Ang have confirmed to attend via Zoom.
Each student will receive a link to take the test online at home or we can request a computer lab on campus. The link will be sent to their AUM email account. They have an hour and a half from clicking on the link for the test until the test ends. It can only be sent to an AUM email account once, so they must have their S# and birthday entered, and read all instructions for the test.
