Cheer Clinic & Tryouts

Cheer Clinics are open for anyone interested in trying out for the upcoming season. At clinic, participants practice with current AUM cheerleaders on jumps, stunts, and tumbling. Clinics are a great way for those interested in cheering to experience cheer at AUM.

We encourage all interested incoming freshman to sign up for a campus tour prior to the clinic.

Tryout Requirements:

• Cheer & Dance (taught at tryout clinic)
• Advanced-level stunt (twisting and release component)

Scholarships:

• First Year – $1,000 / year
• Second Year – $1,500 / year
• Third Year – $2,000 / year
• Fourth Year – $2,500 / year

Additional Scholarships Available:

• $250 / year – standing backhandspring / running round-off backhandspring
• $500 / year – standing back tuck / running round-off back handspring tuck
• $250 / year – 3.75 Cumulative GPA or higher
