Spring 2021 Walking Order

10:00 AM:

  • The College of Nursing and Health Sciences
  • The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences

2:00 PM:

  • The College of Business
  • The College of Sciences


We welcome you to the commencement exercise of Auburn University at Montgomery! We are happy to have you as a guest for this momentous occasion. Due to the larger than normal graduating class this semester and the current health recommendations requiring six foot social distancing, graduates may invite no more than five (5) guests. Please note the following information to answer questions you may have regarding the commencement ceremony:


For the 10:00 a.m. ceremony, guests should arrive between 9:00-9:40 a.m.. For the 2:00 p.m. ceremony, guests should arrive between 1:00-1:40 p.m.

Plan to remain for the entire ceremony.  It can be very distracting when guests leave during the ceremony. Please remain seated until the graduates have left the floor.

Parking and Directions:

All guests should park by and enter through the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl, 220 Hall Street, Montgomery, AL. 36104.

Cell phones and cameras:

Please turn off or silence cell phones. Do not make or receive calls during the ceremony.  Camera equipment is prohibited in the aisles.

Photos and Video — Village Photographers is pleased to be the official graduation photographer for your ceremony. Village Photographers will take pictures of every graduate on the stage. There is NO FEE for this service and NO OBLIGATION TO ORDER. Free proofs will be sent by mail and email about a week after the ceremony. To ensure that Village Photographers has the correct address information, please sign up online. Registration for proofs must be completed prior to graduation day. Multiple e-mail and mailing addresses may be registered.

All graduates, guests, faculty, and staff are required to wear facemasks and maintain social distancing of six feet among non-household members at all times.  We recommend those of you that are considered high-risk to view the ceremony online. The live streams will be available at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at http://graduation.aum.edu.

The University’s plans for commencement may change due to COVID-19 pandemic conditions. Any necessary changes will be announced as soon as possible to our upcoming graduates by email and to the community on this website.


While there will not be any preceding seating reservations, there will be staff to assist with guest seating and wheelchair access seating.

Disability needs — Guests who need wheelchair access should notify staff upon entry for direction to special seating. While there will not be any preceding seating reservations, there will be staff to assit with seating. If a graduate has a disability and requires assistance, he or she should contact the Registar’s Office at 334-244-3125 or email records@aum.edu.
