About the Scholarship

Currently enrolled AUM students who are in good academic standing must meet the following requirements by the March 1st deadline in order to apply:

Undergraduate Students must have completed a minimum of 12 hours of undergraduate coursework from AUM by the deadline, with a minimum cumulative institutional GPA of a 2.5 or higher.
Graduate Students must have completed a minimum of 6 hours of graduate coursework from AUM by the deadline, with a minimum cumulative institutional GPA of a 3.0 or higher.

By submitting an application, you will be applying for a variety of general scholarships as well as scholarship endowments, need-based scholarships, and departmental scholarships. Each of these scholarships vary in amounts as well as in requirements per the donors’ discretion. Please have an updated FAFSA on record. Application for the Continuing Merit Scholarship will be available between the end of January through March 1st of each year.

*Please note that some schools/colleges and departments may require a separate scholarship application. Be sure to check with your academic major to explore all scholarship opportunities.

**Continuing Merit Scholarships are competitive and limited in number. Scholarships will be awarded to the most qualified candidates who apply by the deadline. Students will be notified of their scholarship decision early summer.
