Fire Prevention Week

AUM Public Safety encourages students to take part in National Fire Prevention Week 2021 from Oct. 3-9.
This year’s theme from the National Fire Protection Association is “Learn the Sounds of Safety.”

From beeps to chirps, this year’s campaign works to better educate the public about the sounds smoke alarms make, what those sounds mean, and how to respond to them.

Smoke alarms have played a leading role in reducing fire death rates over the past 40 years, but we still have more work to do in maximizing their effectiveness.

There will be on campus fire prevention events, information, and more!

Students can visit www.aum.edu/fire-prevention to learn more about how to be alert and prevent fires, and can read the latest fire safety report.

The event is finished.
