AUM Higher Ed Day 2024

Join members of SGA as we join other colleges and universities across the state at the state capitol. Higher Ed Day is a march and luncheon focusing on celebrating the importance of Higher Education in Alabama.

Here are details for Higher Education Day 2024:

Date: Thursday, February 22
Address: 2 North Jackson Street, Montgomery, AL 36104
Note: Individual drivers may park in any free spaces in LOT B behind the building

Time: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (March begins at 10:30 a.m.; Signing of pledge begins at 11:30 a.m.)

Location: Alabama State House (front steps)

Student Bus Information (service provided by SGA):

8:00 a.m. -Buses begin loading

8:30 a.m. -Buses depart from Taylor Center parking lot

1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. -Buses return to AUM

Additional info: Lunch will be provided for attendees on the state capitol lawn
