Rural History and Ecology Research Institute Restoration Work Day

“The forest on the AUM campus is full of invasive plants, such as privet, mimosa, popcorn trees, and Bradford pears. As part of a long-term restoration effort, the Rural History and Ecology Research Institute is holding monthly workdays to remove these plants. To help with this project, please join us from 9AM-12PM at the bridge leading to the forest. Bring water, wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the outdoors, and anything else you may need for a morning in the woods. Long pants and sleeves are highly recommended! Please RSVP HERE and contact Dr. Vanessa Koelling ([email protected]) if you have questions.”
