AUM is excited to announce the transition of our Learning Management System from Blackboard Ultra to Canvas.This website serves as a one-stop source for information and training.
In the Spring of 2023, following a survey of faculty and students about their experiences with Ultra, the Office of Distance Education and Faculty Development requested that AUM leadership explore learning management system options. In response, the Provost appointed a 15-member Task Force to research, review, and make recommendations. That process led to the recommendation to move to the Canvas LMS.
Your Instructional Designers are personally migrating and cleaning up your courses. However, there may be some minor additional work you need to complete
You will be notified when your course is fully migrated.
The notification will include a list of items you should check and/or complete.
As soon as you are notified (and you have completed FDI Canvas training), open your course, review it and make whatever changes are needed.
