Dr. Lei Wang’s research focuses on exploring the pedagogical applications of emerging technologies, such as generative AI, virtual reality, and augmented reality, in K-12 and higher education settings. Dr. Wang is particularly interested in how these innovative tools can transform teaching methodologies and enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

In addition to her research, Dr. Wang is committed to developing effective instructional strategies tailored to diverse learner profiles and needs. She actively designs and implements theory-based learning resources rubrics for assessing the quality of learning resources to prompt deeper learning and student achievement, contributing valuable insights to the field of educational technology.

Dr. Wang is dedicated to her students’ success and is proactive in reaching out to ensure their engagement and progress in her courses. She values open communication and is always available to support students who may be facing challenges in their academic journey.
