Military Education Benefits

Military Education Benefits

First, we would like to thank all of our veterans and their families for the sacrifices made in service to our great country. AUM’s Office of Veteran Services is here to assist students eligible for the U.S. Veterans Administration education benefits and the Alabama National Guard Education Assistance Program (ANGEAP).

  • We are located within the Office of Financial Aid in Room 111 of  Taylor Center. You may contact the office at (334) 244-3288 or email [email protected].
  • To view AUM’s Office of Veteran Services policy and procedures, please refer to our Veteran Services Information Document. It is the student’s responsibility to read and be knowledgeable of this information.
  • If you have not applied for your VA Educational Benefits you are encouraged to do so immediately.  It could take 30 to 45 days after receipt for the VA to review and approve the application.
  • In addition to the educational benefits below, AUM offers a variety of military scholarships.

Types of Educational Benefits
