Michel Aaij is Associate Professor at Auburn University Montgomery, and specializes in Medieval literature and linguistics. He teaches courses in those field, as well as in English, American, and world literatures.
He is the co-editor of a volume on St Boniface in Brill’s series Companions to the Christian Tradition (2021). He has published journal articles on various saints, including Boniface and Elizabeth of Thuringia, and on the teaching of Judith. At professional conferences, he has presented on hagiography, on African literature, and on American medievalism and the Deep South. He has published dozens of book reviews and book articles, and he writes for, and presented at conferences on, Wikipedia.
