Students with a Nurse Educator Certificate will be prepared to educate healthcare providers and educators for the 21st century healthcare environment, with an emphasis on interprofessional practice and team science.
This online program is designed for post-graduate registered nurses who have already earned an MSN from an accredited program, and who wish to add a specialization to become a nurse educator.

A Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is a registered nurse with a graduate degree in nursing that is prepared for advanced practice with individuals and families throughout the lifespan and across the health continuum. This practice includes independent and interdependent decision-making and direct accountability for clinical judgment.
Graduate preparation expands the comprehensiveness of the FNP role to include participation in and use of research and implementation of health policy, leadership, education, case management and consultation.Â
